Delivery of the printed newspaper will take two weeks to arrive. Access to the digital edition of the paper will be available immediately.

How do I renew my subscription?

How can I put a temporary hold on delivery?

To temporarily stop delivery of your Federal Times newspaper, please call customer service at 1-800-368-5718.

How can I change the information within my account?

You can change your address information or your login information online by clicking here or by calling us at 1-800-368-5718 or 703-750-7400. Hours of operation: 8AM – 8PM Monday through Friday. Changes to a mailing address take two weeks to reflect in the delivery of your paper.

Where can I find my account number?

Your subscription account number is located on the mailing label of your Federal Times. The label can be found at the bottom of the front cover. The subscription account is the first nine digits between the two # signs above your name. A sample subscription account number is in red below.

What is the electronic edition?

The electronic edition of Federal Times is an exact online replica of the print version. Each week, when a new issue is posted online, you may visit the site to read the electronic edition and enjoy the same articles available to readers of the print edition.

How do I get the electronic edition?

The electronic edition of the paper is posted each Monday to the Federal Times website and links can be found on the main page of the site. Simply click the link and you will have full access to the electronic edition within your web browser - there is no need to download anything.

Do I need any special software to view the electronic edition?

No special software is needed in order to view the electronic edition. The electronic edition can be browsed with any internet-enabled computer with a web browser.

How is the electronic edition different from the print version of the paper?

The electronic edition of Federal Times is an exact replica of the printed version of the paper. Anything found in the print edition will be viewable online.

Do I need to subscribe for the whole year in order to access the electronic edition?

Yes - in order to access the electronic edition, a full subscription must be purchased.

Will electronic archives be available? If so, will there be a charge to access the archives?

We keep an archive of electronic editions. To locate the archives click on the electronic edition link and then use the issue date dropdown menu to select an issue. Archive access is included in the price of your subscription.

Is there a limit on the number of times I can access the electronic edition?

Not at all - please feel free to visit and read the paper as often as you like.

What are the system requirements to view the electronic edition?

Other than Internet connectivity and a current web browser, there are no significant system requirements.

Can a user print just one article?

Yes - when viewing an article via the electronic edition you can simply click the Print icon on the electronic edition toolbar to print a copy.

Can I email interesting articles to colleagues?

Yes, but the recipient must also be a Federal Times subscriber in order to access the article if it resides within the electronic edition.

Can I save the electronic edition on portable media?

We offer the ability to download individual pages via PDF format.

Do I have to be connected to the Internet in order to view the electronic edition?

Because the electronic editions are hosted online, an Internet connection is required. In addition to the default display, we also provide a lower-bandwidth version of the electronic edition for those not on broadband connections.
